Going Blind?
I hope not. I've often had that debate in my head. If I had to choose between going blind or deaf, which one? If you're deaf, you can't listen to music. But if you're blind, you can't see boobies. And you can't surf or snowboard and all that. To someone with sight, it seems blindness is obviously more debilitating than deafness. And yet, I digress...
What I mean by blind in terms of a startup business is the all too easy scenario of losing sight of yourself. It's way too easy. After a hard day/week/month/year of work, and there isn't much to show in terms of gross profits, or the direction of the company or brand isn't going the way that was initially intended, or brand growth isn't coming along, well, one tends to lose sight. One tends to question themselves. Is this really a good idea? Will people dig it? Am I wasting my time? Am I wasting my energy? There's even worse questions to ask oneself at this point: Where is my market? Is my idea marketable? Who is my market? What if I can't recover my initial investment? Does she like me for my mind or my body? wait a sec. I dunno. I think it's way too easy to get overwhelmed and all of a sudden I feel like I'm flailing. My solution? Business Plan. It's the 1 thing i go to whenever I think I'm drowning. I like it. Because in it is the happy ending of Automaton saving snowboarding.
But if you're like DareDevil, who is a blind crime fighter, you're other 4 senses would become so fine tuned, especially after being exposed to radioactive materials...
