1st Ever Contest Ever: October Contest!

Even though this contest announcement isn't suppose to be until Oct. 1, I'm gonna break it out here now so you readers can get a good 4 hour jump on it. This is the 2nd of 3 contests in the series known as Automaton's 1st Ever Contest Ever! For October, we bred a scavenger hunt with an anagram to get this mutt of an event. All answers can be found on the internet! Ok, ready, go:

a) The artist who did the Adversary graphics: find the name of his home town in the native language of his citizenship and take the 7th letter.

b) His country actually has a second official language. Find the name of the country from where that language is from, in that native language. Take the 7th letter.

c) Find the name of the country where Automaton snowboards are produced, in their official language. Take the 1st and 6th letters.

d) Last letter: The artist who did the Transmissions graphics. His studio is named after a philosophical thought important to a certain 19th century thinker. Find the name of that thinker's native country in its native language and take the 10th letter.

These 5 letters spell the name of one of my favorite countries, in its native language. The first 5 to email the correct word to this email address will win prizes, and all correct entries will be put in the running for a free snowboard given away on Dec. 1, 2005. If the Oct. contest sounds like a lot of work, well hell, you could win free prizes and possibly a snowboard! And you might learn something! Read previous posts for complete 1st Ever Contest Ever rules. Thanks for playing.
