Splatter Post
Should have more pics to post, but I'm a piece of crap when it comes to taking photos. I'm just not mindful of lugging around a camera that doesn't do anything for me except take photographs. However, I will def bring the camera with me this weekend as our group is heading to Ascot for the horse races. I don't have much money to gamble with, but that won't stop us from dressing up like clowns and downing pimms in the sun all day. Yep, when in England...
Summer solstice is today, the longest day of the year. Usually, I'm in Norway for the solstice, but not this time. When I say usually, I mean last summer and 4 summers ago. Norway is rad. Especially when they're getting 20 hours of daylight. Even when they're not, Norway is cool. But yeah, I should get outside for this day. Maybe move my laptop 3 meters to the left and my office will be on the patio.
The get-fat-quick diet isn't so quick apparently. This is upsetting me. I dunno what to do anymore. I'm pretty sure that beer has no calories because I'm easily doubling my supposed daily calorie intake by matching what I eat with beer. Ice cream apparently isn't fattening, either. The last week, I've resorted to eggs and avocado, lots of bread, and no exercising. The result: nothing. Mind you, I don't wanna get fat as in obese. I just wanna fill out the frame a bit. Be a bit more buoyant in the ocean. Hmm, J9's bag of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Soft Fruit Gums are sitting out. They taste good.
The water heater at 107 Strath has been f-ing out all summer. Living without hot water sucks the big one. You know it's bad when Paul is using the water kettle we use to make tea/coffee to fill the wash basin. Never take hot water for granted.
Thanks to Iain, most of the people on my chat think i eat poo and/or drink pee. So just for future reference: if you're IM chatting with me, and all of a sudden I start talking about turd burgers or something, it's not me! It's Iain chatting with you. I gotta start password protecting my computer or something.
I'm so down with line drying clothes. Unless the weather is crap, of course.
