Blah
Out of Tahoe, back in San Diego. But not for too long. I gotta be back in Truckee in a couple weeks to receive Automaton's new board inventory. Lots of traveling this year, which is good. I'd prefer more international flava in my routes, but it's been cool so far. The Pacific Northwest was a region I'd wanted to visit but didn't have any good reason. So I can cross that off the list. Anyway, surf in San Diego has been seriously lacking. At least it isn't Vegas hot like it was before I left for Hood. Plus we have the ASR tradeshow coming up in September which should be cool. Acutally, I'm over tradeshows. They're just a big hassle, really. I mean, little literal business occurs. It's just a shmooze-fest laced with alcohol and girls in bikinis. Which, of course, is ok in my book. Enough of the pointless ramble. This coffee apparently has kicked in overdrive.
San Diego may not be getting crap for waves, but South Africa sure as hell is firing. Durban, South Africa. Man, I gotta get down there.

WooHoo Baby, thats what i'm talking about! If you should ever come to Durbs and catch a few waves, make sure you make a turn to Cape Town! Or maybe I could visit you up in Kwa-Zulu Natal. (ask your south african friends if this doesn't make sense). Don't ask me to surf though. I tried a long time ago for 3months and i totally sucked at it!
