Worlds Collide
My little world is getting smaller by the minute. Everyone I know is getting to know everyone else I know. This is kinda cool. Last night at the HCSC staff sale, I met Charity, who was hanging around Joe P. Charity, as it goes, I haven't seen in 4 seasons. We originally met at Alpine Meadows during the spring of my first season in Tahoe and she filmed me hitting the Eliminator: Alpine's 40ft flat-down rail. Not only that, but she lives down the street from the place where I'm currently living at Hood. Weird.
Another example goes through Aurelie. A couple weeks ago in San Diego, Aurelie met Kimmy who I know from Breckenridge 6 years ago. Kimmy knows Catherine (not Cathryn) from the same season. Catherine (not Cathryn) is moving to San Francisco in a couple months. I was trying to set up Catherine in Aurelie's spare room in SF. Catherine met Cathryn this summer in London through me. Ok, Aurelie is Cathryn's (not Catherine) cousin's son's ex-gf. Did you get that? (Carry the 1.) Whew. I just hope my friend and family tree doesn't end up looking like a wreath.
