That's right. Automaton is hosting our 1st ever (but not last) art opening, featuring creative expression on canvas and wood by Agent Joe Polillo, Shawn Carney, and friends. I'm stoked that Automaton is finally able to do something that really builds upon one of the messages of the brand. In my opinion, art is the cutting edge of humanity. I define art as creative expression. Art has to have both elements, otherwise it's just mess. And it's a human's ability to create and imagine that truly raises him or her above other animals on an intellectual level. So if you're in the Tahoe area March 1, hit up Carnivore, get drunk, (and buy some art!) I'm getting kinda worried about some of the Agents, though. I cruised over to Joe and Carney's place. Their house is 4 dudes, all professional terrain park builders and artists and such. And in their magazine pile are copies of Child and Parenting magazines. Kinda weird. Maybe starting a family is the new black?
