So so SoCal.

Back in so so SoCal. Gotta take care of some business in LA, then I plan to be in San Diego surf by mid-day tomorrow. Surf makes me happy. I think, in the last several months, due to lack of shred time and other bits of stress-crap, I forgot what it is to be happy. I know happiness is all relative. I'm happy that I don't have to hunt for my food everyday, or worry that a bear is gonna eat me every other second. Surf/snow is how I live my life. And without it, I suppose I just don't feel right. It's not a routine thing, because I've already realized that my love for surf/shred hasn't changed, however, the WAY I love it has. But everyone's human. Life is dynamic. Take the Agents for example. When they have bum days or whatever. Something is bothering them about shredding, or whatever else they have going on in their lives. Who do they turn to? Many times, Automaton's agent manager, who happens to be me. Whether it's random phone calls from 3000 miles away, or emails, Agents have stuff to talk about. Could be as little as asking for an outerwear lead, or if they wanna stay an Agent or look for other sponsorship, or what to do because they totalled their car, or if I know anyone in some place 'cause they need a place to stay for the night. Admitedlly, a lot of stuff they talk about doesn't really concern me so much as I'm concerned as to whether or not my friends are happy. But then my question is: if Agents have me to talk to about their stuff, then who do I talk to? Or am I the end of the road? Maybe this is where that saying about a good woman is behind every good man comes in. Maybe I need a bit of a life change? It may be time to put myself in a position where I can interact with women instead of girls.
