This Mess

This is the blur that's been Hood '07 thus far. Moved in with a bunch of hippies, so everything is communal. Which is cool if you don't have stuff that's breakable. Wii bowling has ended any concept of 'spare time'. People come and go through this house all the time, at all hours. Someone's always sleeping on the couch, and we've gone through boxes of batteries for the Wii-mote. The neighbors complain to the HOA constantly about us. I've concluded that one needs to maintain a high level of athleticism to play ultimate frisbee. Hot chicks exist in Oregon, but they all have dudes. I want to make art, I want to create. But I have nothing. The rental Jeep got ran into the ground. Soft air guns are cool, but it's hard not to shoot things. I've spent the last 2 days and nights fueled by beer and red wine trying to get the new Automaton site going. I have to say that I'm very very pleased with the new site so far, which is good because I'm usually not pleased with anything I do. I'm From Barcelona is such a great band. Seb's blasting his sax on the back porch and it's 10:30pm. My car has new locks and keys. We hit up the Portland blues fest on the waterfront and sat next to that dude from the band Everclear. I'm also trying to help Joe S set up the art opening at Zenbu for next Thursday. Inerviewed Joe P for a profile article in an upcoming Happy. Schmucking around with the Japan pro house in town. Gotta hit the road tomorrow to visit potential Oregon dealers of Automaton contraband. We've pitched up in Government Camp to sell stuff to the campers. I have a renewed sunflower seed addiction. Met up with Chris today in Portland to talk about Automaton's printing needs. I'm trying to read a book. And next week kicks off the Abominable Snow Jam so it's gonna be a circus on the hill. Added to which, Jordan's cat, Trotsky, just farted out a litter of 5 kittens 3 days ago. This house is a mess.
