Ninja Lightning

The house is still asleep, so now's the perfect time for a quick ninja blog. The Oz trip has been cool so far. A whirlwind, in retrospect, but definitely not the raging backpacker hostel scene. (Had my 1 night of that to get it out of my system). Met up with a lot of old friends, which is super cool. Almost all of them (and including myself) are hitting triple decade within a year, but ALL look EXACTLY the same as I remember them 7 years ago. I guess the Aussie sun works wonders on the skin. Sydney is Sydney, but Brisbane always ends up fun, and in Melbourne the food is fantastic. I've eaten myself over budget! A couple days surfing in Byron was good, but got skunked AGAIN for waves in Noosa. Tomorrow I fly out of Melbs for Newcastle for a couple days, then back to Sydney, and then off to NZ on Friday. But for now, I'm gonna think about how to get down to St. Kilda and maybe take in a coffee. Flat white, of course.
