In Japan. Lots of snow. Lots of wind. Wind is blowing over cars. Seriously. Had the best powder day in 2 seasons on Monday at Bandai Alts. Shredding steep fresh with Jerod and Joe P while Brent was practicing for the Nippon Open qualifiers. Heading out to Seki in Niigata today. Supposed to snow all week. Lots of traveling. Lots of snowboarding. Tough to find time to blog. Might end up in Nagano by Saturday, then back to Tokyo Sunday. Here's a pic of our crew at Reno Airport last week. * just got to our guest house in seki, which is south of niigata. 6 meters of fresh pow. I'm not joking. And that's not a typo. I've literally never seen so much snow in my life. Shredded Akakura tonight with our Japan Agents and our crew. Night pow runs and cornice drops in the middle of heavy snow fall is the raddest.
