An Actual Business-Oriented Post!

I know it's been a while since I've written a business-oriented post. I have my reasons, namely tiredness, lazyness, and not-feeling-like-itness. But there's been a specific issue on my mind the last couple (read:2) of weeks that I'm gonna unload. Now. Right now. Ok, now. Promotions. Gotta promote. Get the word out there. But how? In the snowboard biz, it pretty much comes down to events, magazine ads, and a team. This is the proven way. My issue is with whom to promote that will build not only the business, but also the branding of Automaton. Successful companies have strong branding programs and stick to them. Lately, I've been getting contacted by people who are promoting something and would like Automaton to sponsor their event. It's difficult to choose who to go with. In the short term, any promotion is better than none. In the long term, poor branding is detrimental. I know that the right decisions are ones that stay true to what makes AutoSnowCo. unique. I believe that our Army of Automaton Agents will spread our ideas and stoke people out. I know that the season is coming up quickly, and I gotta get the trade show dates and sales programs down. I know that there's turning points coming up, and I must capitalize on every single one of them. This is the kind of stuff new-business owners gotta think about, and we don't have the luxury of being able to afford mistakes. And if this post makes little to no sense and isn't funny, it's because i'm exhibiting reason a: tiredness. Goodnight!
