Rain Is Mucho Sucky

What's with the rain? I'm not a fan. I flew from "Best F-ing Weather on the Planet" aka California to Washington DC for a buddy's wedding. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to catching up with the old friends and all. But the rain. I don't like walking around and getting wet. I'm like a cat. If I'm not in the shower, or the surf, or swinging from a rope swing over a watering hole, I don't wanna be wet. I understand that rain is necessary. But is it too much to ask that it only rains from 3:30am to 3:35am if and when it has to? Rain is starting to get up there on my Wosrt Ever List with: trust fund hippies, guys who drive Volkswagen cabriolets, and mosquitoes. I really don't like rain.
