My Policy

Generally speaking, my policy is: if it's free, it'll take 2. Happy magazine is free, and I just got 10 in the mail. Stoked times ten. Automaton got a plug in the 11/05 issue of Happy. In the growing corporate control over the cut-throat world known as the "action-sports" industry, it's highly rare (take it from me) that a mag helps promote a brand that doesn't pad their payroll. If you're not familiar with Happy, chances are you don't live in SoCal, or you do but you're blind because I don't think Happy is translated into braille. Happy is a snow/skate/surf rag that is free. And why shouldn't all magazines be free? It's not like Happy's staff isn't getting paid, they don't have a large circulation, don't have distribution, or don't advertise, because they do have all of these. Anyway, I'm very excited to have support from Happy, and I'll be even happier (pun!) if this exposure translates to increased board sales. Did that sound too corporate?
