She's No Linds

Got to Tahoe like 3 hours ago. Truck's still packed. It's too cold outside to unpack. Too dark, too. And I'm too tired, anyway. I had a dinner event that makes me anti-urinal cake. I rock on up to a Panda Express because I'm over the burger and fries meal. Too many road trips have made me sick of fast food. Remember that movie, Super Size Me about the effects of fast food on the human body? After I saw it, I literally couldn't stop craving and eating McDonalds for a week. And yet I digress. Back at Panda, the line was long and I had to make pee pee. I went to the bathroom to do this. I peed into the urinal like I have so many urinals before, generally onto the urinal cake. As I went to wash mis manos, I noticed that my knees were wet. Apparently, the urinal cake splattered my own pee back onto my pants. At urinal height, there was a clear line below my knees that was dry. But I was hungry so I headed out back into line. I noticed that this Panda was rocking Madonna's Border Line on the system. Interesting dining music selection. Even more interesting was the next in the playlist, Debbie Gibson's Out of the Blue. And the Panda people were rockin' out! I thought, "Is this PANda or MANda express" and I almost broke out laughing. And then I thought of the sight of myself: a dude dressed like a high school student, wearing checkered slip-ons, with pee pee splattered on his pants, laughing to himself in a panda express while debs is blasting. And it made me laugh harder. Stupid urinal cakes.

Anyway, back in Tahoe. Kinda feels like I never left. Settling into the new house. Gotta take care of some biz, then I'm out to shred!

I was obsessed with Debbie as a kid. My first rockstar obsession, and my first concert. I wore her black hat for 3 years and refused to take it off. I even wore it to my cousin's wedding. Now THAT'S love.
