Shred Chicks!

What is it about shred girls that's so hot? Seriously. Surf girls are ok. They look really nice, but few of them can actually surf. Skate girls, if any, are gnarly. But shred girls are awesome, especially when they're pulling tricks and have a cool kit going. I like seeing that kind of commitment. Commitment is sexy. I don't like seeing girls wipe out, though, especially on rails. Saw some shred girl pull a super clean boardslide to backside pretzel out yesterday, and yeah, it was hot. It also pushed me to try that trick my next run. Three attempts, pulled it 3 times. So i'm happy to add another trick to the bag.

Today, though, I dunno. The weather was coming in, so I headed back to the 'star. Had fun, took tons of park laps, but also took a lot of slams. I mean a lot. Usually, I'll eat it big once a day. Today, I ate it on down boxes, kickers, straight rails. Got snow in the jacket, pants. My neck is already feeling stiff. Frontsided a box (means approach it frontside and slide backwards) only to come off and hit some kid who stopped on the run out right when I was landing. Sweet!

USASA Nationals is this week at Northstar, and the Rick is in it to win it! He has several USASA titles to defend in half-pipe and slopestyle, so cruise up on March 30th to cheer him on! Here's a pic of the Rick getting nasty on a Mammoth kicker.
