2. Rockin' up at 2am on a Friday night bank holiday weekend and thinking you're gonna find a place to stay is the quintessintial example of a bad idea. AKA not-thinking-ahead.

3. Dutch toilets are interesting, especially knowing that the Dutch engineered a large portion of their country to be BELOW sea level. I mean, with that kind of ingenuity, how did they end up designing toilets like they do?

4. The Red Light District is not camera-friendly. In fact, you'll get kicked to the ground. Bargaining isn't a good idea, neither.

5. If a coffee shop (or any shop for that matter) has a bit too much Betty Boop decoration, it's probably a very gay joint.

6. I don't think anything's illegal in Amsterdam. Well, in the proper zones, that is.

7. We're not good at judging age from looks. At least, Iain isn't.

8. Argentinians love steak.

This is the only proper photo we got. A collective art piece in the room of our hostel, which by the way, had THE most comfy beds I've used in recent memory. Either that or staying awake for 28 hours makes any bed comfy.
