Game Over.

And I thought that by now, after all my travels, I'd be very good at them. I'm not. In fact, I'm over goodbyes. So over them that I don't do them anymore. Case in point: today was the employee end of season party at the resort. Basically, most US citizen employees were there, many of whom come back to work every winter. This is cool, it's kinda like my comfort zone even though I'm not bestest friends with any of them. Anyway, I needed to get back home to pack all my crap up and bail out of town. So I just got up and left the party. No goodbye to anyone. It's easier that way. And i'm not one to get all emotional over anything (not even waves or pow these days). Well, this brings me to a thought I had the other day. I was thinking that there's maybe one feeling in the universe that's better than catching a wave or pulling a trick: being surrounded by your friends. I dunno. This place is just my comfort zone.

Pic of WCW. Sorry I can't make it to your wedding, buddy. But I hope I can position us to run the snowboard industry within 2 years.

I feel the SAME way. I despise goodbyes and so many times I've just snuck out so I didn't have to say them. And I'm right there with you - there's no better place than surrounded by friends!
