Going The Distance
In the realm of storytelling, there's nothing I love more than hearing about the underdog winning. That's prob why The Karate Kid ranks high on my best-ever movie list (#7). Rocky, too (#10). Anyway, there's another story, a true one this time, that's got me. The heroes are highschool drop outs and social rejects in West Philadelphia. Their foes are the multi-billion $$$ automotive and oil industries. What did they do? They built a car that rockets from 0-60mph in 4 seconds, and gets 50+mpg running on soy bean oil! SO RAD! My uncle once told me, the most dangerous enemy is the one with nothing to lose. He also happens to be a black belt in karate. Really.
