There was an ad sign outside the Earlsfield rail station that said: "The internet has killed the art of conversation." This is kinda true. Since I've become the official Automaton computer jock this summer, I've started noticing how the interweb has affected our life. In business, seriously, how did anyone get anything done before computers and the internet? With our laptops, we can do like the work of 7 people. IF we do work. Because the other thing I've noticed is that it seems like everyone's on the internet all day. If this is the case, then who's working? It seems that my buddies and I internet chat with each other ALL DAY. We're shooting around pics, checking out funny sites, listening to music. Heck, my flatmates IM chat with each other, and they're in the same house! The other day, J9 and I were IM chatting and we were sitting RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER. Lazy or wave of the future, today? Speaking of waves, I'm starting to imagine every wall and fence I see as a peeling wave... Going to a medieval party tonight. Wouldn't mind jousting, if you know what I mean. 'Cause I don't know what I means.
