OR style

So far, Oregon's been pretty cool. Literally. It's awesome to get out of the SoCal super heat and have to actually use blankets at night. We can wear pants during the day and not pass out or have to drink a gallon of water. Other than that Oregon's kinda like California except less expensive, lots of space, people don't drive all crazy fast, you can't pump your own gas, there's no sales tax, and people are generally friendly. For example, I was just working on the comp yesterday afternoon at home. Without warning, 2 girls I didn't know (which is obviously a way larger number than the girls I do know) came into the house and baked brownies and cookies. Then they cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and left. That was it. It was weird and wonderful all rolled up in a tortilla and covered in salsa verde. Mmm, salsa verde... The whole time, I just figured my roommate knew them. He didn't either. Oh, up at Hood, it's really green and mossy. For some reason, reminds me of the Goonies.
