This weather is so typical Tahoe. Either we get nothing, or we have hell on Earth. Right now is the hell on earth side. It's been snowing hard since last Wednesday. Maybe stopped for 30 minutes Friday morning, but then kept going. Not that I'm complaining. I'm here for snow, so bring it on! What gets me are the people that aren't prepared for the stuff. I mean, when you go to the mountains, you bring a jacket, boots, etc. You should also bring 4x4! And learn how to use it! I just saw 2 way-too-massive luxury SUV's (one with low pros) piloted by some non-local soccer moms stuck in snow banks around town. And I know getting stuck sucks, but they have to realize, it doesn't just suck for them, it sucks for everyone that has to wait or help get them out as well. Stop sucking! At any rate, just got back from a pow session at the Deathstar. All my deep snow crap is at Sugar Hole, and there's no way i'm getting on 80 which is backed up and stopped for miles with said suckers. So I had to use my 149cm "pow" deck. My back leg is not so happy right now, but I got my turns in and left a happy camper. May hit up Mammoth tomorrow if I can get my crap from the Hole.
Carnivore is coming to get you! It's my 1st art opening, so i'm kinda nervous about getting buyers in there and stuff. But hopefully I make all my mistakes here, learn, pull the opening in San Diego, and become an art agent! Whatever gets me out of the kitchen, ya know?
