It's All Part Of The Game

Had my 1st surf in 5 months yesterday at a 'secret' spot in Ventura. Let me tell you, I'm out of shape. And the water was cold. And the wind was howling. Many times, it's a waiting game with the wind. A game that I always lose because i'm impatient. Waiting is not my forte. Now I'm sunburnt. But this is surfing and i'm all for it. The 1st day back is usually a bit rough, and I gotta get back into form for Oz. Gonna head to Huntington in a bit, hopefully the kids are in school and not in the water. Damn kids.
