The Highschool Look

Busy as crap day, is how I'd describe today. And it's not over yet. Lots of chasing people down, trying to get stuff 'tight and right' for the rapidly approaching season. Seriously, can we get the catalog proof right? Please? Seriously. I'm checking the 3rd proof tomorrow.

Added to which: I went to visit a printer in San Diego. When I met the owner, Adrienne ("Adrienne!" [Rocky voice]), the first thing she said to me: "I love your shoes. My daughter has the same pair." Great! I'm rocking the highschool girl look with the checked Vans.

Then today I'm cruising down the sidewalk and these 2 girls started hooting at me as I walked by. I've never been hooted at before, so I thought they were drunk or something. When I passed them, one girl was all, "Hey, hottie. Are you a senior?" These girls were like 16 and wearing their highschool gear. Granted it's a compliment to look young, but when you get carded to see Batman, it's not that cool anymore.

Just sighted at the Horton Plaza, San Diego. The To-bot.

well...my high schoolin' days are long gone. but my niece and her best friend today guessed me as 19...no provocation on my part.

when i revealed the truth and asked why 19, they said i have too much energy for someone my age.

not sure if that's a compliment.

but i'll take it.
