Square Zero

This is where I am right now. I've had everything taken from me. Remember the movie, 'the Game' when Michael Douglas gets drugged and wakes up in Mexico with no money, ID, or anything to get home? That just happened to me. While I was out surfing last week, my car got stolen. In it was everything I owned. My pizzle, cell phone, wallet. My computer containing all my business and personal information. ALL my clothes. I came out of the water with nothing but a wetsuit and surfboard. Everything I had was taken away from me. It's taken a lot of effort and concentration to not get overly mad. It's not like I lost everything due to spending all my money on drugs or something or associating with shady people. I didn't victimize myself. At the same time, I'm not really mad at the guy that took my car. (I saw who it was, some beach bum). I'd like to believe that in the world, there aren't good guys and bad guys, just everyone doing the best they can. So for a homeless person, you can't blame him for taking advantage of an opportunity. Doesn't make grand theft auto right, though. And I don't feel sorry for myself, either. I wasn't targeted. I know other people get their cars stolen, too. I'm super frustrated that the data on my computer is lost, which is a big set back for my business, and that a car I searched and saved for 3 years got taken from me in 5 weeks. Sucks. This is square zero. I have nothing material anymore. And I'm 100% convinced that karma doesn't exist. Why try to be good if good things happen to crappy people and crap things happen to good people? But tomorrow, I'm flying to Oz. Going to Buffalo Exchange to pick up some threads today. If there is any good in the universe, my car will be recovered in good condition with all my stuff still in it. (Minus my credit cards. He tried to charge stuff on them). No more blog pics until I get another digi cam.

ps: big thanks to chad at index ink for hooking up some threads. and if anyone sees a blue 2000 audi a4 wagon, it's probably mine. seriously. there's like 3 other blue audi a4 wagons in the state of california. maybe only 2. it's a super rare combo: 1.8t engine, quattro, black cloth interior, manual tranny. pull the dude out and kick the crap out of him. or call the cops and have them do it.
