All Good in the Hood
Well, I'm back in the Hood, livin' at Griz's house with the usual suspects. Plus about 8 hippies. The house is like a hostel now, which is cool because there's always something random going on, and 'cause there's a lot of toys to play with including a tube amp stereo with belt driven turntable, about 100 LP's, and... a Wii! Yep, eat it, we have a Wii! Wii Sports is by far the best thing to happen to me in the last 3 days. But I'm looking forward to cruising the Pacific Northwest for several weeks. Planning on heading up to Seattle this weekend to catch up with some friends. And sell some snowboards. That's my ulterior motive for this entire trip: snowboard sales. With the help of undercover agent, Joe P, we're infiltrating the HCSC coaches sales to increase Automaton market share. In the meantime, I gotta shmooze it with industry types, key shreds, and Portland art galleries. Random memory: the old Sugar Hole restaurant manager's daughter is also working at HCSC. Hmm. Back in Tahoe, Joe Singer is heading another Automaton art opening at the Zenbu Lounge, Squaw Valley resort. Opens July 5th, don't miss it!
