Brain Fart of the Week

Yeah. In my typical MO, I've been super scatterbrained lately, but fortunately getting things done. On one part of my mind, stupid US customs is holding up important shipments. On the other parts, I have the '09 Automaton catalog to design, along with shipments to distributors, pre-season promo opportunities, the Honesty art opening next month, and shipping out this season's Automaton contraband to shreds across the country, waiting and frothing for snow. On top of that, I'm learning the business of business as I go. This morning is a bit of a breather, hence the time to blog. Surf has been mixed lately. Tuesday was one of those surfs that kept me happy all day. The love for surfing has def changed for me. Even though I'm somehow still progressing at my old age, surfing's all about feeling. Reflecting upon a quality session, I don't recall the tricks like I did when I was younger, so much as how they felt. Frontside roundhouse cutbacks are still the top of my to-do-list. But if I can start consistently landing airs, I'll be happy with that, too. And yet I digress. Lots of drama at work, which is another indirect stress. I keep my nose clean of all drama. That's just policy. Unless drama keeps hanging around my station, making small talk and asking for food. Gotta shoo drama away, but she is hot. Senor Papa Cabeza here and I have been sticking together. Rocking out to a lot of Stereo Total lately, and the Prototypes as well. I don't claim to understand women, so listening to a bunch of women jamming out in German and French isn't that big of a change for me.
