Best Ever

I'm over this rain/snow/rain/snow deal we're getting served up here in Tahoe. It's mixed signals, and I don't appreciate it. However, it's absolutely dumping big white flakes right now, so i'm sure the resorts are getting puked on. I'm not planning on riding resorts today, though. I have a bunch of crap to prepare for the upcoming trade shows in Jan and Feb. 2007 sample boards should be arriving any day now, and i gotta make sure all the NorCal dealers are gonna be hitting up the AutoSnowCo. booth.

California is the best place ever. I think it should become its own country. In all the places I've ever lived, visited, and passed through, Cali has THE best weather. We also have surf, snow, countless outdoor activities, freeways, and mexican food. And Vegas is right next door, if you're into that kinda stuff. I'm not saying that California is perfect. We have ridiculous tax rates and a severe population problem, and that's my #1 beef with California: there's just too many people here. And I don't ever plan on raising a child here. I'd go to Europe for that. But in terms of geographical goodness, California is hard to beat. Australia is a close runner up, though. My biggest regret in my life was that I didn't start surfing at an earlier age. My next biggest is that I wasn't born and raised in California. But now I'm making up for lost time. Here's to the Republic!
