Sing Along!

I'm in such a good mood today. I think it's because the Mammoth trip was so rad. Then I wake up this morning to find that it dumped overnight. Even though it was supposed to storm all day, I bundled up to take a few runs at the Deathstar. I rocked on up, got a good parking spot (which is increasingly rare at the 'star), and jumped on the lift. Took some pow tree runs completely solo. The 'star's been breaking records for such high levels of business this season. So it was a shock to get fresh tracks alone all morning and not see anyone else. I remember sitting on the Pioneer lift, the old school slow-as-crap double. My pizzle (iPod) sometimes seems to know exactly what i'm in the mood to hear. When I was younger, I used to listen to music to alter my mood. That was ok until I blew out my back. I listen to a lot less punk while I'm riding these days. But now I tend to listen to music that fits my mood. Anyway, my pizzle started playing the Beatles: All You Need Is Love. That song, seriously, is impossible not to sing along to. So just picture it: me all bundled up, sitting alone on a lonely lift, it's dumping snow, no wind, and I'm singing All You Need Is Love really really loudly. I dunno, it was just one of those moments for me.

This is an example of drunk drawing, a Mammoth memento. Well, shorty wasn't THAT drunk at the time.
